Abraham Clark Abraham Clark was born in Elizabethtown, New Jersey, now known as Elizabeth on February 15th, 1726. He was the only child of Thomas Clark, who was an Alderman, which is a high-ranking instalment of a borough or county council in Elizabethtown. Clarks ancestors had settled a farm in Elizabethtown, which would eventually idea to Abraham.
