I also will show you how many different races we attain in this small community. I will tell you how we equal in my community and how raft ar tough. I will discuss some challenges that face the minorities in my community. I will discuss the media within my community and how they report on stories. in conclusion I will summarize my community. Letting you read closely how people in workplaces and schools react when others say racial words. I live in a small community called Youngsville and we consume around 651 people, 251 households, and 175 families that reside in my town. Most of my community is the white population, we name 70.97% that are white, 25.19% African Americans, 0.31% native Americans, 0.92% Asians, 1.84% that are from other races, and 0.77% that are two or more races. (Youngsville northwards Carolina, 1998) Youngsville N.C. has around 3.07% population of Hispanic race. (Factfinder, 2000) In Youngsville there are influences of race as it relates to my community. We have all races living in this small town and racism is something that is bad in workplaces and in schools. People bunk to look at your race and not the person you are. This causes a lot of race issues because of the way the people look at others before even trying to uprise to know that person. This happens a lot in my community.



I have been out and tried to talk to an individual of different race than I am and they just ignored me like I wasn’t even there and talking to them. When it comes to kids going to school, they tend to act out on other students that are not the same races as them. This is where the parents should come in and teach their kids at an early age about different races and that everyone should be treated the same way, regardless of race.
