Macbeth was a Scottish General and the Thane of Glamis, before he became power hungry. Macbeth met tether witches, and they told him more or less the prophecies he would soon encounter. The first prophecy was that Macbeth would acquire Thane of Cawdor, and then the King of Scotland. Macbeth doesnt believe the prophecies until the first unmatched comes to. From that point his greed for power had come to life, with the influence of his married woman madam Macbeth. The women in this novel also have a sense of greed, violence, and are evil. The spark to Macbeths greed, ambitions, and violent behavior came from the three witches. Greed has an affect on deals personality, and Macbeth and Lady Macbeth are prime examples.
In this novel Lady Macbeth played a crucial part in her maintains lust for greed. Not nevertheless was her husband power hungry, she became power hungry erst she found pop about the prophecies. Lady Macbeth influences her husband a lot through out the play. Macbeth and Lady Macbeth greedily and lusts for power in Scotland, even once they receive power they continue to lust for more. Macbeth first kills King Duncan in his castle. The prophecy actually got to him, gaining power, and greed was all he thought about. He did anything in his power to gain power, even if that meant killing the King.
